Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the family business.
When he found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father died, he decided he needed a wife with which to share his fortune.
One evening at an investment meeting he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
Her natural beauty took his breath away. “I may look like just an ordinary man,” he said to her, but in just a few years, my father will die, and I’ll inherit $200 million.”
Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three days later, she became his stepmother.
Yea Jillian. There’s something over that mountain!
It was my first and I’m happy to be going there one last time this weekend.
David this was your place. Miss you Mr. Morrow.
Pittsburgh’s oldest surviving gay and lesbian nightclub will close its doors for good on Dec. 6, owner Scott Noxon said today.
Pegasus Lounge on Liberty Avenue, Downtown, has been open 29 years but hasn’t made money for a number of recent years, said Noxon, 49, of McKees Rocks, who owns two other bars in the city. He has owned Pegasus for five years.
“It’s acceptance, I guess,” he said. The bar once was a safe haven for gays and lesbians, but he noted, “The Internet has cut into our business. People can hook up online; they don’t need to go out.”
The nightclub was among the places researchers from the University of Pittsburgh formed The Pitt Men’s Study, the oldest ongoing study of the natural history of the HIV. Two years before the virus was identified, patrons of Pegasus and other gay establishments were given free beer in exchange for giving samples of their blood. The Pitt Men’s Study was the catalyst for the Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force.
The nightclub also was where Wexford native Christina Aguilera entered “teen night” talent contests.
Before it became Pegasus, the nightclub was known as the Staircase Lounge and before that, The Copa.

America did not invent human rights. In a very real sense human rights invented America.
A woman meets a gorgeous man in a bar. They talk, they connect, they end up leaving together. They get back to his apartment and she notices that his bedroom is completely packed with sweet cuddly teddy bears… hundreds of cute small bears on a shelf all the way along the floor; cuddly medium-sized ones on a shelf a little higher; and huge enormous bears on the top shelf along the wall. The woman is surprised that this guy would have a collection of teddy bears, especially one that’s so extensive, but she decides not to mention this to him, and actually is quite impressed by his sensitive side. She turns to him… they kiss… and then they rip each other’s clothes off and make hot steamy love. After an intense night of passion with this sensitive guy, they are lying there together in the afterglow, the woman rolls over and she asks, smiling, “Well, how was it?” The guy says: “Help yourself to any prize from the bottom shelf.”
